Benefits of Good News

GNN has really changed the way I see the world. A few months ago I realized that I was getting really bogged down by all the terror and destruction that hit me first thing in the morning, and throughout my day. Now, with the Good News Network set as my homepage, I see first the good that goes on in the world and my attitude and state of mind are much better.

No Place for Negative News?

Featuring only positive news on this website is not meant to mean there is no need to hear the negative stuff that’s going on in the world. Often it is just as beneficial for humankind to hear the woeful news. However, I think the presentation of positive images and inspiring tales would be more helpful in today’s world if only because they are in much shorter supply. An overabundance of crime stories creates the perception of a crime rate out of proportion with reality. And so the news media is not fulfilling their requirement as expressed by Thomas Jefferson to provide an accurate and truthful report reflecting society.
