1) US Rebuilds Clinic in Tanzania to Foster Anti-Terrorist Sentiment - The U.S. military looked at this town and saw something more than empty wells, a crumbling pharmacy and sun-baked dirt -- it saw an opportunity to fight terrorism by rebuilding a clinic. Rays of Hope in the Philippine Waters - Nine manta rays were recently spotted for the first time in 20 years gliding through Basura, the internationally-renowned dive site in the Philippines. 7) A Grieving Mother's Incredible Forgiveness - A great story of compassion in the NY Daily News: The mother of a Harlem teen gunned down by a 12-year-old told her son's baby-faced killer she forgives him - then asked the judge if she could hug him. (Inspired! Individual)

8) Comatose Man's Brain Rewired Itself - Wallis was 19 when he suffered a traumatic brain injury that left him briefly in a coma and then in a minimally conscious state, uncommunicative other than occasional nods and grunts for 20 years.
