Artist Uses Miles of Yarn to Create Field of Color Over Abandoned Tennis Court

 

When Eric Rieger was younger, he always used to get in trouble for doing graffiti – that’s when he decided to use a less destructive art medium and switch to yarn instead.

Using miles and miles worth of colored string, Eric, aka HoTTea, created a breathtaking rainbow web over an abandoned tennis court in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

LOOKMexico Asked Graffiti Artists To Paint An Entire Town – Joy Was the Result

City officials adored the installation so much, they started locking up the court at night so no one would be able to vandalize the project.
