The wild hat worn by Princess Beatrice to the recent Royal Wedding is proving to be worth a bundle for charity.
Beatrice, 22, put the hat up for auction on eBay – and the current bid now tops $30,000 (£20,200).
“I’ve been amazed by the amount of attention the hat has attracted,” Beatrice wrote on the eBay listing.
“It’s a wonderful opportunity to raise as much money as possible for two fantastic charities. I hope whoever wins the auction has as much fun with the hat as I have.”
The silk hat was designed by famous UK milliner, Philip Treacy.
