A teenager in Scotland won a whopping £53,000 on the National Lottery – all because his mum told him to tidy his room.
Slovenly Ryan Kitching, 19, reluctantantly cleaning his bedroom unearthed 12 old tickets in his drawer.
He thought he had checked the numbers and was going to throw them away.
“At the last minute I got this strange feeling that I should get them checked,” he told the Telegraph.
