Good News on US Jobs Front: Private Sector Job Creation Continues, Unemployment Falls

Two pieces of information released today paint a pretty strong picture for the US economy.

A new report by private payroll company ADP shows a significant number of jobs created, 210,000 - well ahead of the expected number.

Monthly unemployment claims also dropped by 12,000 last month.

(ADP last month accurately predicted the gain reported two days later by the Labor Department, which will release its important monthly number tomorrow.)
