Throngs Follow Space Shuttle Endeavour Along LA Streets On Final Journey

Space Shuttel on LA streets-NASAThe massive Space Shuttle Endeavour rolled carefully through the streets of Los Angeles today, creeping slowly towards its final resting place at the California Science Center.

People lined the streets pointing their cameras as the five-story-tall spacecraft with its 78-foot wingspan wound along its journey.

Streetlights and some power lines had to be moved, and a few trees trimmed as the shuttle rolled by.

This is lovely - but ironic that such a historic moment is captured with Dexter scowling from the sidelines :lol:
