What can I say? It happens to the best of us?

I am sorry to report that our site was hacked Friday, which resulted in emails being sent to our registered users.

The Good News Network has no credit card data whatsoever on file. All our payments are done externally through Paypal, so no worries there.

The spam emails contained simple links to buy Amazon products.

Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience of the emails. I have never sent sales missives like this to my users, so it must have seemed strange to receive such a message from goodnewsnetwork.org.

I persist in my work despite all the setbacks and disappointments that arise in a digital world which unfortunately contains some malicious characters.
