Oscar selfie-TwitterIn the midst of the Oscar ceremony last night, host Ellen DeGeneres grabbed a bunch of the greatest Hollywood actors out of their chairs for a cell phone photo, which became a selfie for the ages.

Posted from her phone, Ellen tweeted the photo and told the television audience to make it the most retweeted photo of all time.Traffic on Twitter skyrocketed, even crashing the company’s servers, and by the next morning the group selfie was shared nearly 2.6 million times.

The stars, including Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts, Brad Pitt, Kevin Spacey, Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Lawrence crowded around Ellen for the shot, as Bradley Cooper held out the phone as far as he could to get almost everyone in the shot.

Jared Leto barely made it in to the left of the shot as Ellen wrote, “If only Bradley’s arm was longer.”

Best supporting actress winner Lupita Nyong’o’ is peeking over the top of the group, while her brother, who was unknown until now, jumped out of his seat to take over the bottom right of the otherwise star-studded photograph.
