New French Wine Barrels Save Oak Trees

After developing organic wines, some in the business have now patented ecologically responsible wine barrels that conserve hundred year-old oaks. They require less of the noble oak tree to construct because they are double layer, with the oak only a couple millimeters thick. Also, they are more economical.
