Hero Nanny Runs Barefoot Through Flames to Save Boy

nanny-saves-boy-msnbc.jpgA 22-year-old nanny, who had been hired just two weeks earlier, suffered third-degree burns on both feet and her hand when she braved 400-degree flames crossing a carpet on fire in her bare feet to save the family’s 5-year-old son trapped in his bedroom.

“I love her so much,” Aden told TODAY’s Ann Curry Friday from Kentucky’s University of Louisville Hospital, where the heroic nanny is recovering from burns she received during the courageous rescue.
