A retired Victoria policeman said he had seen plenty of wallets returned over the years, but never one to which money had been added.
His granddaughter, 15-year-old Courtney Barwick, got a telephone call saying her wallet had been turned in. That was nice (her ID was in there), but what she found inside was even nicer.
"There was a 20-buck bill with a note saying 'surprise.' "
