Hard-working Man Wins Home for a Year

homes in New OrleansAfter living for five months in Calgary homeless shelters, a construction worker is now whistling "I'll be home for Christmas."

Dan White, 42, won accommodations in a rental home for a whole year through Boardwalk's Rent Free Under the Tree promotion with Virgin Radio 98.5.

A co-worker discovered White, who has been working in earnest full-time, was living at a shelter. She decided to nominate him for the contest.
