The South Carolina college students who turned a campus walkway into a tribute to fallen Americans from the 9/11 terrorist attacks are remaining anonymous, allowing the memorial to display its silent strength on its own.
The Winthrop University community woke up on Tuesday to find the artwork--a humble way to honor those who lost their lives 11 years ago.
Overnight, the student artists dropped to their knees and used chalk to design a walkway, coloring one brick for each of the fallen.
