Ode to Ferris Bueller Director John Hughes (1950-2009)

ferris-bueller.jpg John Hughes, 59, director and writer of iconic films like , the Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, Planes, Trains and Automobiles and Home Alone, died yesterday of a heart attack.

He was a filmmaker who really “got” what it means to be a teenager.
