Princeton, MIT and other ivy league schools also offer free course material online, but Yale, using a $755,000 grant from the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, will focus on free video lectures.

If you’d like to participate in one of the seven courses offered in 2007, which include Fundamentals of Physics, Introduction to Political Philosophy and Introduction to the Old Testament, you will be provided with the videos, syllabi and transcripts. (Reuters)
