A San Francisco hairstylist developed a passion for older dogs: those last to be adopted, and first to be euthanized, so she founded the non-profit Muttville in 2007.
“What I wanted to do was rescue senior dogs, so I started taking them home one at a time and cleaning them up and finding them homes,” says Sherri Franklin.
