On Friday, Feb. 15, more than 1,500 members of the NBA family, including the NBA All-Stars, joined in service projects throughout Houston, including the renovation of 5 homes, repairs and improvements to the Foster Place Elementary basketball court, and much needed yardscaping.

During recent All-Star games, more then 1,000 volunteers have donated more than 5,000 hours of service through the NBA Cares/Rebuilding Together partnership in six communities including Houston, providing more than $1 million in market value of improvements to neighborhoods in All-Star cities.
NBA cares estimates they have completed 10,000 rebuilding projects a year thanks to the efforts of nearly 200,000 volunteers from corporate partners, skilled trade professionals and everyday good citizens, who might want to meet their favorite basketball player.
