Company Keeps Paying Workers, Even When There’s No Work

bw-trailor-worker.jpg In tiny Humboldt, Kansas, instead of laying off workers whom he considers friends, Joe Works is paying his employees to fix up the town’s old buildings, baseball fields and playgrounds — and his company, B and W Trailer Hitches, is bearing the added expense even during lean times.

  1. Not only is this wonderful – but we need to do more as the economy slowly rebounds.. We need to remember to do business with those companies that do something to help out in their community. The fact that a business does for others – and provides the right products and services of course – needs to be the new gold standard for doing business with them.
