Ivy League Students Donate Meal Leftovers

dinner-plate-plastic.jpgUniversity of Pennsylvania students came up with a novel and efficient way to help the less fortunate residents of the surrounding community. With students often skipping meals in their pre-paid meal plan, now they are donating these to homeless shelters by signing up for a program run by a business major. 

Every week a shipment is delivered to the food pantry containing cartons of cornflakes and other dry goods.
