A blind violinist was trapped under the support beams of his music school in Haiti for 18 hours, but visualizations of his favorite concertos got him through.
By talking with God and reviewing every concerto he knew, this violinist was able to stay alive until friends were able to dig him out.

I love this one – I saw another similar story a few years ago about a man who was buried alive and survived by meditating. If anyone can find that one I would be interested (am collecting visualization/survival data).
