Since hummingbirds can be notoriously territorial, it might be difficult to imagine them gathered in the wild in a large group.

Which is why this video of more than 30 hummingbirds enjoying a bath together is so striking.

Wildlife photographer ‘WildWingsLA’ posted a 48-second video showing this charm of hummingbirds taking a dip together in a birdbath. Since it was posted back in March, it has been viewed over 1.3 million times.

“A record 30 hummingbirds bathed together at one time during this morning’s wash!” wrote the photographer. “You’d never know they will be harassing each other in five minutes’ time…”

The harassment he is referring to is the competition over his outdoor nectar feeders, which provide sweet nourishment for the tiny critters.

Regardless of their squabbling for food or turf, this peaceful clip of their morning ritual is sure to soothe even the more anxious of viewer.
