Meet The GNN Team
Now in her 18th year publishing Good News Network, Geri is a pioneer in the positive news field. She started her media career in TV news in Washington, DC., became a video producer and always wanted to create a “good news” television show. At the dawn of the web, she built an online news service that today, after authoring hundreds of inspiring articles, has a ranking of #1 on Google for ‘good news’.
Musician, dancer, writer, and social media consultant, McKinley joined Good News Network in 2015 to help grow our presence on Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr. While studying English literature in college, she has contributed hundreds of original articles while also managing the incoming GNN submissions of news links and story tips from around the world.
A Brazilian journalist, with additional experience in Mexico, Joao (John) enjoys finding the good and focusing on the bright side of facts in Latin America. An avid reader of foreign affairs, business, the economy (specially the shared economy), Joao is passionate about Jesus, cooking, eating, and especially his wife. You can check out some of his work at JoaoJornalista or email him here.
CONTRIBUTING WRITER • CHRISTINA CABALLERO (VA)
Avid hiker and Steinbeck enthusiast, Christina started contributing articles for Good News Network in 2016. While studying English and Communications in college, she also makes time for travel and aims to make friends and connections all over the world.
Rob succeeded at what others tried and failed to accomplish for our 2014 website re-development. He preserved 16 years of stories, images, comments and subscribers; migrated everything out of one CMS platform and into another; and is still solving every website challenge we throw at him.
With more than 10,000 covers and ad layouts over 30 years, his vivid, uplifting photography was made available to the Good News Network for our unlimited use. Residing in Hawaii, he is the author of a book of photos and stories about the human smile and its role in creating inner harmony, optimum health, and peak psychological states. It’s called simply, Smile.
We welcome submissions from writers and photographers and are always looking for volunteers, so please drop us a line. We’d like to see what you have to offer.
