Even though his Scoutmaster said it couldn’t be done in the time remaining, a Lond Island teen managed to earn all 121 merit badges offered by the Boy Scouts of America. His inspiration came from his grandmother who was dying and said, “Why don’t you try to earn every one?” In the latter months of his quest, his grandfather accompanied him in tasks for woodworking and plumbing, bringing his grandmother along in spirit as witness to this rare achievement.
