But Marines foiled their plan by boarding the ship without a shot fired.

Today the U.S. Navy reported that nine pirates were captured in the rescue and none of the ships’ crew or any Marines were hurt during the assault.

  1. Interesting the slant put on the Somalis.
    Foreign ships can fish, dump, and traverse Somali waters all they
    want without securing any permits… like so many other countries do.
    But if they try to enforce permits they are considered “pirates”.

    Israels international waters “high seas” piracy dwarfs anything the Somalis have done.
