For the seventh year in a row, staffing services company Robert Half International has conducted a suit drive to benefit Dress for Success and other non-profits that help people find new jobs.
More than 19,000 items of interview-appropriate clothing and accessories were donated by local businesses and Robert Half employees through the program.
Dress for Success, which promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged women, and other partners will distribute the items to thousands of men and women actively seeking employment.
Since Robert Half’s program began in 2002, more than 170,000 items – including suits, clothing separates, shoes and accessories – have been donated.
“Dress for Success and our other nonprofit partners assist job seekers in a fundamental way, providing the confidence that comes from looking their best during the job interview,” said Max Messmer, chairman and CEO of Robert Half International. “We are proud to assist their efforts through this annual program.”
Founded in 1948, Robert Half International Inc., calls itself the world’s first and largest specialized staffing firm. With more than 400 locations worldwide, the company is leader in the field of professional consulting and staffing services.
