I consider myself to be an explorer of the wonders of the world, in terms of cultures, nature, and the inner landscape. Originally from Pennsylvania, I'm currently working as a teacher in South Korea, my latest stop on a journey that has taken me to 24 countries and counting. Since 2015, I have spent significant time in the Netherlands, New Zealand, and Australia and the Czech Republic. Living in Korea is my first long-term experience in Asia, having previously studied Eastern Philosophy in Taipei, Taiwan during a summer at university.
Having studied philosophy as an undergraduate, I am passionate about living a life with the "love of wisdom" at its foundation. It is a privilege to be able to put my writing skills to good use at GNN, in order to spread the word about all of the very good things happening in the world that have been ignored or marginalized by mainstream media. My hope is that I can make a small contribution to uplifting the spirits of those who would also like to do their own bit of good in the world.
"Do your little bit of good where you are; it's those little bits of good put together that overwhelm the world." ~ Desmond Tutu
