Hewlett-Packard, now called HP, is the first IT company to set a supply chain greenhouse gas emissions reduction goal, recently announcing its target of a 20 percent decrease in its first tier manufacturing and product transportation-related emissions by 2020 from a 2010 baseline.
Earlier this year, HP became one of the first companies globally to publicly disclose its complete carbon footprint.
