ie-8-logo.jpgIn June, Microsoft launched “Browser for the Better,” and vowed to donate the equivalent of eight meals to the Feeding America Network of food pantries for every completed download of Internet Explorer 8.

The program will last through Aug. 8, 2009.

  1. This is good news if you need to use the Microsoft browser, but I highly recommend Firefox as the best browser – fastest, safest and best for websites –out there.

I went to the Browser for the Better website and couldn’t even read some of their files. Microsoft is too proprietary for me.

The Good News Network and many other websites will work best if you use Firefox. (We love Apple and Mac products and this website is made on a mac, but I still prefer Firefox for Mac, rather than Safari…)
