This dog’s owner says he wanted to do a test to see if his dog could resist taking a treat, even if he left the room.

In the video, a 4-year-old Australian Shepherd named Morty pauses only a few seconds before he gobbles up the treat. But he soon scurries over to the drawer where the owner keeps the treats.

Morty is seen opening the drawer and grabbing another one, placing it where the old treat had been,

He closes the drawer again, and waits for his owner like nothing happened.

    • So sorry to hear that! I see share buttons right there. Some browser extensions (and I know reading that I know one’s eyes can glaze over) may have conflicts with out share plug-in from AddThis. Some ppl may not see them if they have ad-blocker on for our site, but thousands do share it successfully so it does work for most. 🙁

  1. In September 2018, I collapsed and blacked out due to multiple health issues. When I regained consciousness around 30 minutes later, my Aussie, Bailey was laying at my head. My Mini Aussie, Zoey (who was only 10 months old) would kiss my face and cry, then run to the door and ring the “potty bell”. I believe that she thought that Daddy, who was at work, would hear the bell and come help. Then she’d run back to help me. By the time I finally was able to crawl across the room to my phone, my husband was calling home. He came home right away. But my babies didn’t trust Daddy to take care of me. They stayed with me and kept an eye on me until I went to the hospital.
