Tony Buuck doesn’t want to be called a hero, but the Indiana 12-year-old might not have much choice about it after saving his sister’s life when she fell through the ice of a frozen pond.
He rushed to save her from the frigid water. But he fell in himself. Tony held onto his sister and treaded water with one hand until their father rushed out and was able to pull Tony, still clutching Sammy, to safety.
