Thursday on CNN’s Larry King LIve, Larry hosts the second of a two-part series entitled “Beyond Positive Thinking”. His guests will explore The Law of Attraction and how viewers can use their thoughts and feelings to create what they want to experience in their lives. The shows ties in with a 2006 documentary movie, The Secret, which reveals the life-changing principles of The Law of Attraction. Here is a sneak peak of the film, and what you can expect on tonight’s Larry King Live… UPDATE: If you missed the Larry King shows, check out the posted comments for this article. Guests for tonight’s Larry King show include James Ray, Joe Vitale, George Pratt, Jayne Payne and Jack Canfield, creator of the Chicken Soup for the Soul series…

The basic premise for the first show, which aired on November 2, underscored how people create their experience unconsciously all the time. In fact, our subconscious mind is responsible for some 96% to 98% of our outcomes. The guests, who are stars in the self-help coaching community, teach how to use the conscious mind to break the pattern of the subconscious and change your reality.

For instance, some business owners are hoping and wishing for success but deep down they don’t really believe they deserve it or can achieve it. “By altering one’s mindset,” says John Assaraf, N.Y. Times bestselling author, “it is possible to alter one’s reality, and achieve any personal or business goal.”

The question was raised as to whether this was just a matter of reciting positive affirmations. All of the panelists agreed that the answer is “beyond positive thinking.” They believe change requires shifting the vibratory nature of one’s thoughts and feelings to work with modern laws of Quantum physics, which hold the universe to be entirely vibratory in nature. If a person truly vibrates their energy in a positive way, they physically attract positive things into their lives.

The Secret

Many of the “Beyond Positive Thinking” guests appear in a full-length feature film, The Secret, which was released this year and simulcast around the world via the Internet.

The brainchild of Rhonda Byrne and Prime Time Productions, an independent film and TV company out of Australia, The Secret is an empowering documentary about a ‘secret’ that great thinkers and leaders throughout history have known and used to shape their lives regardless of circumstances around them: The Law of Attraction. It is a guide for how each one of us can use this knowledge in our own lives.

This ‘secret’ has actually been around for thousands of years and has shown up in the writings of the world’s most brilliant and successful minds. Remember one of the main tenet’s of Jesus? “Whatever you sow, so shall you reap.”

The message of The Secret compares to that of the 2004 film What the Bleep Do We Know?, which featured scientists explaining how the process of Attraction works with Quantum physics. The Secret feels more personal and may create a clearer understanding for more people. Through its series of interviews it teaches that thought is energy and attracts like energy. What we focus on is attracted into our lives. (Have you ever known anyone whose biggest fear came to pass? This is an excellent example of Law of Attraction.)

With appearances by Dr. John Gray (, Dr. Denis Waitley (Psychology of Winning), Esther Hicks (The Teachings of Abraham), and Jack Canfield (Chicken Soup for the Soul), you might think, “Oh no. Here comes the pitch for the tapes and books and seminars.” If you want those things, you can find them on the website but the movie itself does not commercialize the message in any way.

The 90-minute film can be viewed once on your computer for a small fee using an average broadband connection, but you must download their software for viewing. You can also buy the DVD.
