When you think that the domestication and use of horses was a major spur to civilization, it is so sad that now that horses don’t have what is considered to be a “use”, they are seen as disposable. Horses have historically worked for humanity in so many ways. This is a great story and I so hope that the plan is successful. Was also glad to see that the horses would be sterilized to ensure that the numbers do not become out of control. This woman deserves a medal.
