In a show of inspiring American diplomacy, all five former living presidents are teaming up to provide relief for victims of Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma.

Barack Obama, George Bush Jr. and Sr., Jimmy Carter, and Bill Clinton recently participated in a video advertisement for their One America Appeal campaign pleading citizens to donate in support of hurricane victims.

In the video, Clinton says: “Hurricane Harvey brought terrible destruction — but it also brought out the best in humanity.”

“As former presidents, we wanted to help our fellow Americans begin to recover,” Obama adds.

“People are hurting down here,” George W. Bush says, “but as one Texan put it, ‘we’ve got more love in Texas than water.’ ”

His father then finishes with: “We love you, Texas.”

While the video was originally geared towards Hurricane Harvey, the fund’s representatives say that they are making preparations to split the finances with Irma relief as well.
