Bon-Jovi-SpringsteenSuperstar musicians born in the New York-New Jersey area will perform at Rockefeller Plaza Friday, part of a benefit concert for victims of Hurricane Sandy. New Jersey natives Bruce Springsteen and Jon Bon Jovi, along with Billy Joel from Long Island are joining Sting, Christina Aguilera and Jimmy Fallon for the show, to be broadcast on NBC at 8pm.

Funds raised from “Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together” will benefit the American Red Cross, which is providing shelter, food, and other assistance to those affected by the super-storm.

Originating on site at NBC, the charity event will also be shown on its cable stations including Bravo, CNBC, USA, MSNBC and E! and any other network that wants to carry it.

The broadcast will be taped-delayed for airing in the West.
