When a teen set out to buy a sports drink, he never expected he’d end up saving someone’s life.

On his walk to the store in Dublin, Ireland, Jamie Harrington noticed a man sitting on the edge of a bridge, crying. He talked the man into coming down and sat with him for another 45 minutes, listening to his problems and consoling him.origami sisters create for charity

Jamie convinced the unnamed man to check into a hospital and called an ambulance for him.

They exchanged phone numbers and sometime later, the man texted Jamie to tell him his girlfriend was pregnant with a boy, and they were naming the baby Jamie.

The man said that Jamie’s first words to him, “Are you okay?” ring in his head everyday, because those words saved him.Coast Guard swimmer completes triathlon-distance swim to rescue 4
