Kevin Bacon Surprises Teachers at Their Year End Pizza Party

While on location in the small town of Marfa, Texas, Kevin Bacon used his free time to drop by a school district end-of-year teacher recognition party.

In addition to saying a few words of thanks and taking a some photos, he took out his checkbook and donated $5000 to support their Marfa Education Foundation, which provides summer meals and enrichment activities to local children.

He got some benefit too.

“The pizza party sure beats hanging out in the hotel room,” it says on his SixDegrees.org Facebook Page.
