This is such a wonderful website that I have been visiting for some time and always suggest to friends. But as of late, the blizzard of advertising and constant barrage of pop-ups has become overwhelming. Not sure what the solution may be, but it interrupts the loading of pages especially like this one with embedded videos, and sadly distracts from the pleasure of reading the articles.
We have only gotten a couple complaints in the last month, out of millions of users. Unfortunately this only affects a fraction of one percent of visitors. Our team is on the site all the time on desktop, and there is nothing like that happening. Believe me, if this were happening to even one-tenth of our readers, we’d be getting a lot of mail. I HAVE contacted my ad network support team, and they admit that culprits in the industry do get these ads through once in a while, but they cannot find anything unusual. The load times are good on the site, and if stories are loading slowly no matter where you are standing—and if you are seeing pop-ups all the time, it points to Adware that could be on your phone.
