Female WWII veteran Bea Cohen 102yo When asked to reveal the secret to her longevity, Bea Abrams Cohen credits her do-good attitude, helpfulness toward others, and the power of prayer.

The chatty 102 year-old has worked for more than seven decades supporting philanthropic organizations and especially the U.S. military, since her service in World War II.

She was recently recognized at a state Capitol celebration in California during Women’s Military History Week honoring the achievements of women in the armed forces.

“As a real-life ‘Rosie the Riveter’ and American soldier, I was able to pay back this country that I love for allowing me to become an American”
