Editor's Note - Hey Everybody! We got emails from the Good News Network today asking us to reconfirm our subscriptions! I clicked on it and it is definitely from the Good News servers and is sent from my newsletter software -- however, I don't know why. Just to let you know with this quick note that I will check with my IT guys to determine what is the cause as soon as possible. From October 1-2, I am back in Las Vegas for a seminar with David Neagle, the millionaire success coach... More later!

My new Great Mentors Audio Series is in full swing after Sunday's tele-seminar with Happiness mentor and Harvard professor, Tal Ben-Shahar. (right, with me at the Positive Psychology Summit in 2006) Tal is author of the new best-selling book, Happier: Learn the Secrets to Daily Joy and Lasting Fulfillment.
Playback of the recorded seminar is now available for FREE — great mentoring at your leisure. One listener called the 60-minute seminar, "Wonderful!" (All your questions that were e-mailed beforehand were answered on the call.)
Listening to the Seminar, You will learn:
... What to do if it feels like your co-workers are preventing your happiness
...The most important aspect of goals is not their achievement
...The Lasagna principle: Too much of a good thing is, well, not a good thing
...A reason that busy moms in one scientific study did not enjoy time with their kids, and how you can avoid the trap that led to such feelings

For your free download of the September 11 Commemorative edition of Some Good News! that you can print out and share, please see the Links and Resources page (in the left column) or download the PDF now — eight pages filled with stories of compassion and kindness in the aftermath of 9/11. The newsletter, Some Good News!, was published from 1997-2003. |

Editor's Blog - If you subscribe to my newsletter you know I am away from the office taking the kids on their vacation. We are in Black Mountain, North Carolina, just outside Ashville, and although our secluded conference location is equipped for internet connectivity, as sometimes happens, the isp connection was down for two days. I'm taking two hours now to catch up on e-mail and find some good news, and will again do so tomorrow morning. Meanwhile, I hope the absense of stories helps you to even more realize your appreciation for the Good News Network. |
